The Honeycomb

Every printed book you buy here fills a cell with honey. Fill the whole comb — six around the bee, then the bee’s own cell — and your eighth book is free, whatever the size. Your comb is on your account page — sign in with the email you order with.

How long does it take?
We make each book in 1–3 working days. Printed books then usually arrive within about a week in the UK, and in one to two weeks in Europe, the US and Asia. PDFs are emailed as soon as they're ready.
What does delivery cost?
UK delivery is free. Europe is £4.99, the US £5.99, Singapore £6.99, Hong Kong and Japan £14.99 — one charge per order, however many books. You'll see it in your cart before you pay.
What makes a good photo?
A clear, front-facing photo in good light, with their face not covered (no sunglasses or big hats) and only them in the picture. For the Mother's Day and Father's Day books, one photo of each of you.
Which languages are the books in?
English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Turkish — you choose when you personalise the book.
Softcover, hardcover or PDF?
Softcover comes in 20×20 or 21×28 cm, hardcover in 20×20, 21×28 or 28×28 cm, both with a soft matte finish. The PDF is print-ready (A4 and US Letter) for printing at home or reading on a tablet.
Can I change something after ordering?
Yes, until we start making your book — just reply to your order email. Once it's gone to print it can't be changed, so please check the spelling of names.
What if something's wrong with my book?
If it arrives damaged or faulty, or isn't what you ordered, tell us within 14 days and we'll reprint it or refund you — no need to send it back. See our returns page.
Are the stories written by AI?
No. Every story is written by our small team, for children, and read and checked before it becomes a book. AI helps with the pictures: it paints your child as the story's character from your photo.
What is the Honeycomb?
Our thank-you for reading with us. Every printed book you buy on this site fills a cell of your Honeycomb; fill all seven and we email you a code that makes your eighth book free — any printed book, any size. You can see your comb on your account page.
What happens to my child's photo?
It's used only to make your book or preview, kept in private storage, and never shared or used to train AI. Preview characters are deleted after 30 days.
